Senior PowerBi Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Power BI Developer for our client, a leading construction, steel fabrication, and industrial services organization. This role will be responsible for taking full ownership of reporting and analytics initiatives, driving end-to-end delivery of data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will not only develop impactful dashboards but also independently understand business requirements, design scalable and efficient data solutions, and translate complex data into actionable insights. This position requires strong expertise in Power BI, along with hands-on experience in Python for advanced data processing, automation, and analytical solution development.

Job location: Hyderabad.

Working model: Onsite(Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of Power BI reporting solutions, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance

• Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI

• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions

• Develop and maintain robust data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX

• Use Python for data  processing, transformation, automation, and advanced analytics

• Integrate Power BI with  multiple data sources such as SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files

• Optimize report performance, scalability, and usability

• Implement best practices in data governance, security, and documentation

• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in reporting processes

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members if required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or reporting roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data  modelling

• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service

• Strong experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or ETL processes

• Solid experience with SQL and relational databases

• Ability to independently  understand business requirements and drive solutions

• Experience integrating data from multiple sources and systems

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
