Record To Report(R2R) Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive R2R Associate to join our client’s Financial Team. This role will support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting through the Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring data integrity and compliance across multiple entities.

Job location:               Bengaluru(BTM Layout)

Work arrangement:     On-site and UK shift(1 P.M to 9 P.M)

Reporting to the finance manager you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end R2R activities including journal entries, general ledger updates, and month-end close, while ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations. The role includes assisting with financial statement preparation, VAT returns, tax filings, statutory accounts, audits, and maintaining the fixed asset register. This position also collaborates with P2P and O2C teams to streamline processes, strengthen financial controls, and contribute to ongoing improvements within the finance function.

Skills & Experience:

• 2–6 years of hands-on accounting experience, specifically in Record to Report (R2R), month-end      close, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Strong bookkeeping and general ledger expertise, with the ability to process, analyse, and review      financial data with high accuracy.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements, fixed asset accounting, and supporting      audits (internal/external).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations) and exposure to cloud-based      accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP tools.

• Experience working in a shared service, offshore, or multi-entity finance environment.

• Familiarity with international accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and multi-currency reporting.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and perform variance analysis.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with      cross-functional finance teams (R2R, O2C, P2P).

• Ability to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, and consistently meet monthly reporting deadlines.

• Continuous improvement mindset with willingness to optimise processes, enhance controls, and      contribute to standardisation initiatives.
